Turón | Cannoli Style

Made my mom’s (and husband’s) favorite dessert for her birthday this past weekend. Turon is a Filipino dessert snack that consist of banana, sugar & jackfruit wrapped with spring roll and fried, but of course, I made these with a twist to embrace both cultures of mine Sicilian & Filipino. So, I made it into a cannoli style with a cinnamon, vanilla sugar, crushed walnuts, cream cheese filling along with a sliced plantain & jackfruit inside, deep fried. 😍 Garnished with a slice (half-moon) plantain and party flag on top. *By taste, measured how much ingredients I added to this filling.
